#1 | The Student Teacher Diaries

So I've begun upon my journey to become the Primary School Teacher i've always wanted to be, and whilst is absolutely amazing, it is also incredibly terrifying.
To help me along the journey, and to find anyone going through something similair, I'll be creating this new mini series discussing my progress, feelings and anything else that comes to mind!

I'm currently 26 days into my course, so almost a month I suppose!
It's pretty brilliant - the school and year one class I have been placed in are both amazing, I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful oppurtunity!

However, I'm feeling incredibly overwhelmed
I had a week at the University, which was rather brilliant as it meant an extra two hours in bed each morning! But it also made me accustomed to how difficult this year is going to be. The amount of evidence I need to document is absolutely crazy!

The early mornings are killing me;
I'm awake at 5:30, I leave at 6:30am and arrive home around 6:30pm.
It's an hour commute, which isn't so bad when I have a good radio station on and a bit of fresh air.
But I do so hope I can get used to the long days, I've already had three migraines!

I've made some pretty brilliant student friends, I'm in with a pretty awesome bunch, and it's great to be able to that support to!

  1. Good luck! It sounds like it's going to be a wonderful experience once you've gotten into the swing of it :) I suffer with migraines too when I'm busy and stressed. Just make sure you've got some coping methods for them so they don't get you down too much x
