OOTD | I'm walking on sunshine! Woooahhh.

|| Top: Topshop | Skirt: Vintage | Shoes & Floral Headband: Primark ||

I brought this top during last summers Topshop sale,
Yellow is my absolute favourite colour and I just love it so much.
I think it goes gorgeously with this floral vintage skirt I picked up on Depop!
Great for a casual walk through the park!

Advice is wanted.

I seem to growing a little detached from blogging right now, which makes me incredibly sad as its something I love so much.
I think my anxiety is quite prominent in my life at the minute, and getting it under control is taking up so much energy.

I seem to be losing followers. Which shouldn't, but breaks my heart a little each time, I worry I'm just not good enough at it anymore!

& I also worry that people just seem to be ever commenting on posts/favouriting tweets to simply spread their own social media rather that it being because they're interested in my content - which I'm aware happens, but it seems all a little more often right now.

Has anyone else ever reached a "blogging wall"?

Perhaps I'm simply not getting myself out there enough any more!
Who knows.

I found a dupe! | (Which you probably all already know about)

Sorry it's been a while.

In random news; i just cleaned my laptop screen & i can't believe how dull it was. Ew.
Probably shouldn't be saying that on the internet haaaaaa.

Okay okay, so this was a totally accidental dupe find, & as;
1. Fiji is arguably but possibly the best Essie shade and
2. Both shades have existed for a good few months,
I am probably very, very far behind on the dupe bandwagon here,
But hey; if i missed it for so long, maybe you have to!

Now I'm living with my parents for summer, i'm struggling to find cute locations to take photographs for small items!

I've had my Essie Fiji for a long time, so long in fact, its become very sticky and not very appliable anymore. (Que the nail varnish remover inside the bottle trick)
Whereas, this Barry M shade was a 3-for-2 spontaneous buy.
It wasn't until I picked both of them up I realised how similar they are,
So much so, I applied one polish on one hand, the other on the other, and you could not even tell the difference!

I do however, think there are small differences;
To keep it concise, the Barry M polish is much nicer in application, the "Gelly" aspect enables smooth application and a shiny finish. I also personally find it more opaque than Fiji!
However, for me, all Barry M polishes chip and wear faaaar to easily (I'm talking like an hour after applying) and Fiji far surpasses on wear!

But with a price difference of £4, I think the Barry M alternative is a good little option for an everyday polish!

So there we have it, my first ever dupe, found accidentally all on my own!

Did you already know about this dupe, and what your favourite brand of polish?

OOTD | I Don't Wear Jeans

|| Top: Topshop | Jeans: Vintage | Shoes: New Look ||

Seriously, I really dislike jeans.
But I'm trying to experiment and get into them a little more.
Hence these vintage jeans!
I don't really know where i plan to wear this outfit beyond the backyard, I'm not sure I'm comfortable enough to wear it on the streets of the West Midlands just yet.

In other news, I apologize for the poor photo quality. I blame the rain.

What's your favourite style of jeans?

Product Review | John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo & Conditioner

My "go-to" shampoo & conditioner is the John Frieda Frizz Ease range, it tames my hair beautifully and I think it's pretty reasonably prices, (Boots 3-for-2 i'm looking at you).

But alas, I love my hair the bigger the better, so I was super excited when good ol' John brought this out.

So what do I think?
It smells gorgeous - always a bonus!
& it does exactly what it says, boosts my hair.
After three uses my hair was visibly bouncier and bigger,
but not as much as I'd have liked!
It creates a good base for extra volume, but for me I still needed to do a little backcombing aswell!

Not to mention; my hair soon regained is frizziness and I was left with a even bigger frizzier mess on my head.

For me, it's a good product and does what it says, but I think there are many, many ways to fix volume in this day and age, and for me, the answer doesn't lie within my shampoo & conditioner.

It has a really exoctic/boho/festival vibe that I just fell in love with.
I can't wait to ditch the tights when the weather gets a little hotter!

Have you got your festival looks already planned for summer?
