Blogmas #8: Book Review | Looking For Alaska.

I don't really read all that much.
So, when I saw this book, something said to me "you have to read that book".
I did.
& I have never, ever, read such an amazing book in all my life.
I am in love love love with it.
I finished it in two days.
Because I just couldn't put it down.

I really don't know what it was that drove me to the book,
It's all about a boy that moves to boarding school and basically has the time of his life.
Set in America, it sort of hits my dream of growing up in the sun on a lake sorrounded by tall grass.
Perhaps that's one reason I love it so much?

Half way through the book, a super big tragedy happens, I actually predicted it, but I was still shocked when it actually happened.
I was left thinking, so what for the rest of the book? Will it drag?
Totally didn't.
I still enjoyed every single page.

Though upset, I wasn't actually angry that John Green did this big thing half way through the book,
I sort of just, understood. I understand the plot and how it made the whole story.

His writing style is just amazing,
Something I've never clicked with so much.
I don't know how he does it, but i'm now a huge fan.
I've already purchased more of his books!

All in all, BEST. BOOK. EVER.
I didn't know it was possible to "bond" with a book so much.
Now I think I may go and read it again.....
