Long time no post.

Hello lovelies.
I just want to apologies for my lack of posts recently.

I've not been very well at all,
& i've been absolutely piled down with university.
Being a third year is much more difficult that I had anticipated, perhaps having two jobs isn't going to work this year!

I promise i'll be back soon.
Stay with me ;).

Needing a change.

...of Hair.

I'm soooo bored with it.

I'm not sure if other people feel the same but when my hair isn't right it actually brings me down, when I'm bored of it I get myself into a real slump.

So i've been looking over old hairstyles to see where I want to go,
I want to keep the length for sure, but its so dead on the ends a good inch is going to have to go.

So this is my current hair:

I love the blonde, but the lack of layers irritates me, my "fringe" flops on my face and my natural colour is coming through whilst the dyed brown is turning that faded red/copper colour. Which I dislike.

Previously I've had:

Super short bob.

Full fringe.

Blondey Blondey

And, a humungous side fringe.

Looking back makes me just want to dye my hair blonde again and actually stick to it... But im worried about the condition of my poor locks, so then I sort of considered putting a smaller sweep fringe into my hair and seeing how that works out, but to me fringe's seem to be a dying thing, is this just me?

Hair is such an important thing and I'm thinking of making a collage of the styles I like to see what sort of works.
Do you trouble choosing?

Basically, I'm hoping you lot can come up with a super suggestion on how to have my locks,
Are there any trends coming up?

Much Love,

OOTD | Green Jeans

|| Top: Topshop | Jeans: Topshop | Bag: Topshop ||
| Necklace & Shoes: Dotty P's | Belt: Primark | Biker: H&M ||

I love this top,
I brought it a few months ago and it sold it pretty much straight after.
I team it up with super bright colours over summer...
But for this particular autumnal day I wore it with a white vest underneath with some high waisted jeans.

I'm trying hard to diet at the minute and I'm starting to see the difference just a tiny bit!

Think these green jeans will be a staple this autumn for me!

OOTD | Vintage Casual

|| Leggings: Topshop | Blouse: Vintage | Biker Jacket: H&M ||
|| Shoes: Vans | Rings: Dorothy P's| Necklace: Claires||

For me, this is just one of those casual outfits that you can throw on and not look terrible.
I adore my vintage blouses, and style them a million different ways, wearing them with my jodhpurs is super comfy and warm for summer - but doesn't just look like i've thrown on a pair of leggings with a top! (Hopefully anyway).

For me, my biker jacket is my most ever worn item.
I wear it all the time and it goes with absolutely everything, ever.
Its my biggest wardrobe staple and i'd be lost without it, every girl needs one!

Happy Birthday Tigger!

Today Monsieur Tigger turned EIGHT.

Well, I know his birthday is in September, but as his a rescue cat we'll never know his true date, so I made it up and stuck to it many years ago.

His birthday marks the fact I've spent 7 years and 8 months with him being my main man!

I found a cat cake recipe HERE
and decided he deserves a little treat now his a middle aged man!

I thought they'd smell the house out of Tuna but they didn't,
They took me five minutes to make and 15 to bake :)
Some people may think its a ridiculous thing to do, but its just a bit of harmless fun!

"Ingredients: 1 egg, 1/2 can of tuna, 2 tbs flour, 2 tbs grated cheese
Directions: Preheat oven to 350˚F. Break up tuna in a medium bowl. Lightly beat egg in a separate bowl, then combine with tuna. Add in flour and cheese. Stir to combine. Scoop batter into cupcake tin or silicone cups.  Bake for 15 minutes."

And the result?...

He doesn't like them!!
I only put it down for him about an hour ago, e had a little sniff and wondered off.
I think he'd have been much happier with a bit of Tuna in his bowl!
Whoops. :)

DIY | Ombre Shoes

So, i've seen this floating around youtube a lot and I thought why not give it a go!
I used a cheap pair of Primark shoes purely because I was worried I'd mess it up!

I removed the laces from the shoes because I didn't want these dyed to, then I coated the rubber in Vaseline, I don't think the dye would take to the rubber but its better to be safe than sorry!
I also brought a cute pair of socks from Primark that I decided to dye to.

Then follow the dye instructions to mix the dye!

I put the end of the shoes into my mixture, unfortunately they just kept floating! EEP. So me & April put some little bags in the bottom of the shoes to weight them down and keep them in the dye.
We left the shoes in the dye for 45 minutes, every ten minutes April got a sponge and gently worked the dye up the shoes in an ombre style.

After the 45 minutes, I put the shoes and socks in the bath, and rinsed thoroughly with cold water.
Then you simply pop your items into the washing machine (not with anything you don't want dyed though!) and walla, your perfectly dye items are complete!

I was really surprised how well it turned out, it looks just look any other professional dye!
I used a DYLON dye from my local haberdashery :)

What do you think?

Review | Deborah Milano*

Even though this item was gifted, all views and opinions are my own.

I recently did a review for Deborah Milano lipsticks and fell in love with the product.

Deborah Milano (LINK) is an Italian Make-Up company making the way for them selves in the UK,
They have a super large make-up sale out at the minute, check it out!

So you can imagine my excitement when I got to review an eye-liner!
I wear eye-liner almost everyday, I really love how it defines and brings more attention to my eyes - I super love it. I normally use felt liners, and I'm always a bit weary with liquids as I've never quite mastered them.
Although I'm always up for trying new things so was pretty excited to see how it'd review.

As always, there items are packaged very prettily and arrived through the post in lightening time.
The fact they're packaged brilliantly does make me love them a lot more.

I expected a really floppy bush, much like a paint brush and seemed to just blob everywhere - but actually I was really pleasantly suprised. The brush is firm and a little more like a felt time brush, what I'm used to, but with the thick black pigmented liquid we all know and love.

It was SO easy to use, for me this was the first thing I was drawn to.
But when I looked up at my reflection I was really impressed with how smooth, and pigmented the eye-liner was.

The formula isn't to runny, nor is it to gloopy (technical terms), it applies incredibly well and doesn't spread on over my face.
The thickness is dependants on how much pressure you apply.

Also, I sneezed after applying it and it didn't smudge, YEY for fast drying ;)

All in all, I can hand on my heart say this is my new favourite eyeliner.
I haven't stopped grabbing for it since.
Seriously give it a go!
You can find the ultraliner eyeliner HERE.

Music Monday | #1

Considering music is such a big huge enormous massive part of my life.
Every monday I'm going to share a song or two with you that I literally cannot get out my head!

So here it my first every music monday song:

Birdy is one of my all time favourite artists,  her voice is just beautiful.
This new song by her really hits the heart strings and has been on repeat for just about 24 hours a day.
The tune, the voice, the lyrics. All of it!
