That 'L' Word | A Boy Called James

So, I've always said the words "James," & "Boyfriend", so you guys know kinda who he is, but i thought i'd go all out and dedicated a little post to him!
(Sorry for the mush in advance).
3 and a half years ago, (to the date actually) me & James went on our second date and 'officially' became a couple. But he never actually asked me and just presumed so I didn't really know until a few days after :P.

But anyway lets rewind before that on to how we met!
My third day of sixth form, (I was wearing a blue miss selfridge frilly dress) I looked across the room and saw, quite probably, the most gorgeous person I had ever laid eyes on. Do I believe in love at first sight? No. But this was the closest thing to it.

My best friend at the time had just found his perfect girlfriend, & was super hell bent on fixing me up. So one free period he ran up to this random boy and gave him my number. Initially I was furious - Initially, this boy thought it was a fix and not a real girl he was speaking to - but considering this same boy I saw on that day is now sitting next to me three years later, I guess it worked out.
So ... many texts, phone calls and flirty glances later, on the the 16th November 2009 we went on our second date to the cinema (the first was bowling, James won ): ). James trod in a huge puddle on the cinema car park and I laughed for hours (I even laughed then)
From that very day we've been pretty inseparable.

Now, we've had our ups, and out extreme downs, most couples do. But there's something that brings us back strong every time. University was a huge test for us - James went a year before me as his a year older, leaving me 217 miles behind. & actually, when the time came for me to fly the nest, I wanted to go to Worcester University not Plymouth. But fate had other ideas & I got rejected from every other single University I applied for, except Plymouth. Then, I got rejected from Halls and had nowhere to live just as James' house mate dropped out of University - hence why we ended up living together.

One year on we decided to move into our own student flat just me, James & Tigger.
Our own little family starting our own adventure in this big, crazy world.

Sometimes, I want to punch him in the face so hard he cries, and other times, I never want to let him go and hold him forever. Sometimes he makes me laugh until I cry, and sometimes we argue until I cry. But that's what love is.
It's letting someone in so close to you they have to power to crush you, or make you the best person you can most possibly be. & That's the risk we take.

James has made me a better person in so many ways. His strong, determined and looks after me a whole lot.
I'm pretty lost when he leaves me, and to be honest, I love him more than anything in the world.
